What does a Dance Academy class look like? A typical class starts with a set warm up, isolations, strength, conditioning and stretching, followed by either a focus on technique or choreography.
What is expected of a Dance Academy Student? Dance Academy students are expected to arrive to class on time and prepared to sweat. They are expected to work to the best of their abilities and take the class and performances seriously. They are also expected to have fun :)
Is Dance Academy hard? Yes and no. Is the choreography challenging? Yes. Is it too difficult to master? No. Will it make you sweat? Yes. Will it make you fit? Yes.
How much does Dance Academy Cost? Dance Academy is $1100 for the year. Payment options are available so it does not have to be all paid up front.
What does the money go to? The money goes to kit items that are worn in class on "on tour", festivals, master classes, field trips, costume items, guest teachers and workshops.
How is Dance Academy different than other Dance Classes? Dance Academy is different than other classes because students have access to different styles, genres, teachers, complex choreography, and community/performance opportunities.
